Hongyuan officially started as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Fudan University, the group is now established, and we sincerely welcome young talents who are interested in our research to join us.

Postdoc, research assistant, graduate researcher, and undergraduate researcher positions are available now. We welcome candidates from all the science and engineering backgrounds including but not limited to chemistry, physics, materials science, chemical/mechanical/electrical engineering, computer science, and statistics.

We are an interdisciplinary research group interested in electrochemistry, renewable energy, and inorganic materials/molecular chemistry. We take a deep dive into electrocatalysis and electrosynthetic systems across multiple dimensions and scales to elucidate fundamental atomic/molecular mechanisms and enhance practical device performances.

Our research span across different areas including but not limited to synthetic chemistry, electrochemistry, spectroscopy/chromatography/spectrometry, computer programming, automation and control systems. Here you will have the chance to explore the synergy across disciplines, to find the research direction(s) that you are truly interested in, to work with colleagues from different academic backgrounds, to learn from each other, and to grow together.
