Postdoctoral positions are available at National Institute of Biological Sciences (NIBS), Beijing to conduct research in the fields of computational chemistry and structure-based drug design. Current areas of interest include biomolecular simulation, molecular docking and scoring function, binding free energy calculation and structure-based drug design.

The ideal candidate is required to have a solid background in computational chemistry and physical chemistry or closely related discipline, in depth knowledge and extensive experience of biomolecular simulation, force field development and/or computer-aided drug design is preferred, but not limited. Candidates are expected to be familiar with Linux, have strong scripting and programming abilities, and to closely work with experimental biologists and chemists. Nevertheless, exceptional computer scientists with extensive scientific programming and deep learning experience are also encouraged to apply.

Appointments are available for up to 3 years upon mutual agreement. The salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
