Recently, the Global Scholars Database website announced the "Ranking of the World's Top 100,000 Scientists". Professor Hu Xiaosong, head of the vehicle power system team at Chongqing University, was selected as the world's top 30 scientists in the field of mechanical engineering.

     The list of the world's top 100,000 scientists is based on comprehensive consideration of the scholar's Metrics journal score, paper citation frequency, paper type, author's signature ranking (paper contribution) and other indicators. Each paper is scored and accumulated.  Scoring is used to evaluate and rank scholars.

     The specific score ranking rules are as follows: each paper score of scholars = (author ranking points * journal score + author ranking position score * citation frequency score) * document type score of the paper
