目前主要从事有机微纳光子学编码材料与器件领域的研究工作,先后主持了国家自然科学基金青年/面上项目,泰山学者青年专家、山东省优秀青年科学基金等多项省部级以上科研课题。候选人累计发表SCI检索论文45篇,其中以第一作者或通讯作者在国际高水平期刊发表论文16篇,包括国际顶刊Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. (5篇), Adv. Mater. (1篇), Nat. Sci. Rev. (1篇), ACS Nano (2篇), Chem. Mater.(1篇),Small(1篇)等,论文引用1600余次。获授权中国发明专利5项。其中“有机微纳隐藏光子学条形码”的研究成果入选“中国光学年度十大进展”(首位作者)。作为首位指导教师获得山东省研究生创新成果奖、山东省研究生前沿材料创新实践大赛一等奖各1项。
