2020年11月17日上午10:00，广东以色列理工学院机械系助理教授姜又华博士应邓旭教授邀请来到材料表面与科学研究中心做了题为“多尺度固液相互作用：从气溶胶的收集到液体传输”的学术报告，报告由邓旭教授主持。

目前，水资源的缺乏威胁着饮水与工业用水。从雾气中收集水是解决水短缺的一个很有前景的方式。水收集由两步组成，一是用固体表面从雾中抓取以蒸汽或气溶胶形态存在的水，二是把抓取到的水定向运输到储存处。这两步涉及到多个学科的知识，包括流体力学，胶体与界面，表面工程，及传热传质等。因此，目前定量研究水收集的工作不多。姜教授在介绍了水收集的大背景之后，又从流体力学与表界面力学入手，分析水雾收集及水传输。分别从两个方面进行阐述：在超亲水表面上，报告介绍了一个可以在0.1秒内让水在金属线上传输速度加快3倍的机理。而在疏水表面上，又重点阐述液滴的粘附及运动机理，包括表面润湿性与微结构的影响。最后，姜博士简短地介绍未来的科研方向及计划。

报告结束后，姜教授就界面现象和表面工程的一些机理问题与在场的师生进行了深入交流和探讨。

报告人简介：

Prof. Jiang received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the Stevens Institute of Technology in 2014 and 2018, respectively, followed by the Postdoctoral Training in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Northwestern University. He joined the Mechanical Engineering Department at Guangdong Technion – Israel Institute of Technology (GTIIT) as the Assistant Professor beginning from 2020. His research interests include the effects of solid surfaces on phenomena relating to fluid dynamics, phase-change heat transfer, and physical chemistry, particularly the multiscale droplet-surface interaction. Prof. Jiang’s career goal is to address practical problems relating to water, energy, and the environment. By 2020, Prof. Jiang has authored nearly 20 peer-reviewed papers mainly at the leading journals in interfacial phenomena, including Physical Review Letters, Applied Physics Letter, Langmuir, Soft Matter, and Journal of Colloid and Interface Science. Prof. Jiang presented his work at more than 10 international conferences with 2 invited keynote talks, served on the Editorial Board of Surface Innovations (JCR-Q2), and served as a review for 19 journals.

姜又华博士，重庆人，分别于2014年、2018年在斯蒂文斯理工学院机械系取得硕士、博士学位，之后在西北大学从事博士后研究工作，并于2020年10月加入广东以色列理工学院（GTIIT）机械系担任助理教授。姜博士专攻于界面现象，尤其是固体表面性质对多尺度固液相互作用的影响。这是一个涵盖流体力学、相变换热、物理化学领域的交叉学科。姜教授的工作在水、能源、与环境上有很广阔的应用。他的近20篇研究成果大多发表在界面现象基础研究领域的权威期刊上，以一作身份发表的包括Physical Review Letters, Applied Physics Letter, Langmuir, Soft Matter, Journal of Colloid and Interface Science等，且在国际会议上做报告十余次（受邀专题报告2次），并担任JCR二区期刊Surface Innovations的编委及19个期刊的审稿人。
