Abstract:A multifunctional bioactive metal ion-based injectable hydrogel was developed to synergistically promote nerve tissue repair and regeneration after SCI. The hydrogel was formed through hydrogen bonding between SF and ULDH, resulting in the formation of a β-sheet structure. The combined effects of this synergistic therapy, including inflammation inhibition, hypoxia amelioration, and neuron production promotion, resulted in significant motor function recuperation in mice with a 3-mm-long spinal cord cavity model.
