Yongfa Zhu

Professor Zhu has been supported by the Ministry of Education's Cross-Century Excellent Talents Program and the National Natural Science Foundation of China’s Outstanding Youth Fund. He has won one second prize of the National Natural Science Award, two first prizes and one second prize of the Natural Science Award of the Ministry of Education, and one second prize and one third prize of the Ministry of Education’s Science and Technology Progress Award. He has published five books and obtained 24 patents. He has published 560 SCI papers in journals such as Nat. Catal, Nat. Energy, Nat. Commun, Angew Chem. Int. Ed, and Adv. Mater, among which 50 papers are highly cited. His papers have been cited more than 51,000 times, and his H-index is 130. Since 2014, he has been named a Highly Cited Researcher by Elsevier, and since 2018, he has been named a Highly Cited Scientist by Clarivate Analytics. Professor Zhu is currently the founding editor of Science for Energy and Environment (SEE), the associate editor of Applied Catalysis B, the associate editor of Green Carbon, the vice chairman of the Chinese Society of Photographic Science and Technology and the director of the Light Catalysis Professional Committee, and a member of the Environmental Chemistry Professional Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society. He is also the deputy director of the Academic Committee of the Key Laboratory of Resource Chemistry of the Ministry of Education and holds other academic positions.
