As a junior independent research group, our team is extremely eager for excellent postdocs who have strong background about organic chemistry, material chemistry, computational chemistry and biochemistry.

Applicants with following experiences will be preferred:

i) Organic synthesis, especially involving peptides, chiral molecules, amides, water-soluble small molecules. You will lead a team to create new molecules and their materials.

ii) Polymer synthesis and characterizations, including ATRP, RAFT, photopolymerization, etc. Especially those rich in GPC analysis (we have a state-of-the-art GPC equipment in our lab).

iii) Material design and characterizations, including (hydro)gels, elastomers, self-healing polymers, 3D-printing, fibers, adhesives, biomedical materials, gas absorbing materials, etc. You will take advantages of our simple and robust systems to innovate on the material scale.

iv) Computational chemistry, focusing on polymer physics of elastomers, molecular dynamics, DFT, etc. We have a lot of amazing polymer architectures to be played with, and you will also have independent projects and opportunities to be supported by our experimental staffs. 

v) Biochemistry (proteins, chemical biology, biomaterials, etc.)
