Zhou Hui was born in Hengyang, Hunan Province. In 2017, he graduated from the School of Physical Science and Technology of Lanzhou University with a bachelor's degree. In the same year, he was recommended to be exempted from the examination as a postgraduate majoring in materials physics and chemistry of Lanzhou University, and joined the State Key Laboratory of Solid Lubrication, Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences for joint training. In September 2021, he continued his Ph.D. study at the School of Physics and Electronics, Central South University. The tutor is Professor Junliang Yang. His research interests are flexible sensor devices based on mechanoluminescence.
