研究兴趣主要集中在野生动物营养与生态、营养与免疫调控的前沿交叉领域。试图通过动物生态学、动物生理学、动物生物化学、免疫学、动物营养学及饲料学等知识和手段，为野生动物的保护与资源利用提供一系列崭新的工具和研究方式。具体研究方向如下：大熊猫的营养生态学；野生动物营养与驯养；营养与免疫调控
