研究领域

结构生物学研究主要通过X-射线晶体衍射、核磁共振或电镜的方法直观反映生物大分子的静、动态结构及其相互作用,直接阐明基本生命现象,因而成为现代生命科学研究的重要主流前沿方向。本课题组主要以生物糖组分、生物卤化物等特殊天然产物的生物合成过程为研究对象,运用X-射线单晶衍射分析对糖基转移酶、卤化酶进行了高分辨率的三维结构解析,并结合其他酶学研究方法,直观反映酶的催化过程,透彻揭示了这些酶的化学反应机理,为酶功能的改造和运用,新型药物的设计开发提供了理论基础。
