2009- 迄今重庆大学生物工程学院教授；重庆大学海外高层次引进人才 (2015.9迄今重庆大学医院皮肤科周一，四 9-13:00皮肤科专家门诊（公益） 2008-迄今兼巴斯大学博士副导师 2001 年获英国巴斯大学药理学系-光生物博士学位 1997-2008 英国巴斯大学药理学系博士；国王学院、UEA、巴斯大学任初级、高级博士后 1997 年获四川大学(原华西医大)临床医学6年制学士学位重庆市‘百人计划’特聘专家 1981-1997 华西医科大学（四川大学）临床医学系本科及四川省人民医院, 主治医师

研究领域

1. 研究紫外光（UVA和UVB）对人体皮肤细胞的作用，太阳光和人工紫外光源损伤皮肤和组织的具体机理，阐明细胞的防御机制。 2. 光治疗的相关机理，光动力治疗ALA -PDT、金属螯合疗法以及新型纳米材料/药物对皮肤的防护及治疗。光老化动物模型的研究。 4. 抗衰老，尤其是皮肤衰老产品研发。皮肤干细胞修复的药物及相关纳米材料的研发等。
