以活性筛选为导向从药用植物中发现具有重要生物活性的小分子化合物,以期发现新药先导化合物进而研发新药; 以活性筛选为导向从药食两用植物或功能性食品中发现活性物质,以期阐述他们的药用或者功能性作用机制进而开发保健品; 利用现代科学的理论和手段阐述传统中药的作用机制实现中药现代化。
