现主要从事耐火材料、超硬材料及陶瓷材料等领域的研究。主要研究方向为氧化铝微粉等耐火材料原料的合成与制备,耐火材料应力应变行为及热震稳定性研究,纳米材料在耐火材料中的应用等。
