Invented the leading clean-coal technology in the United States: chemical looping processes for electricity, hydrogen, fuel and chemical production -- which have been licensed and are currently being demonstrated at a pilot scale for commercial applications.
Invented the first and only Electrical Capacitance Volume Tomography for 3-dimensional real-time imaging of multiphase flows and reactor systems – commercialized by a spinoff company (Tech4Imaging) and used worldwide in academic research and industrial practice.
