长期从事勘探地球物理地震波分析、处理与反演研究，主要研究方向包含反问题在地球物理勘探中的应用；信号分析与反演；稀疏、鲁棒反演；压缩感知；快速、高效低秩预测；粘弹性吸收衰减成像；多震源地震观测系统设计与分离方法研究；以及应用数学、机器学习和地震勘探的交叉研究等
