个人简介

I am a Professor in the Institute of Natural Sciences and the School of Mathematical Sciences at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where I co-direct the lab of computational neuroscience with Prof. Douglas Zhou. I received my B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Mathematics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2010 and 2014 respectively, and my M.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2015. Before joining Shanghai Jiao Tong University, I worked as a Postdoc in the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences at New York University from 2015 to 2018. Here is my CV. Lab News Research 7/2022 Paper 'A striatal SOM-driven ChAT-iMSN loop generates beta oscillations and produces motor deficits' has been published online by Cell Reports. 2/2022 Paper 'Hierarchical timescales in the neocortex: mathematical mechanism and biological insights' has been published online by Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America. 8/2021 Paper 'Mathematical modeling and analysis of spatial neuron dynamics: dendritic integration and beyond' has been published online by Communications on Pure and Applied Mathematics. 5/2021 Paper 'maximum entropy principle underlies wiring length distribution in brain networks' has been published online by Cerebral Cortex, which was selected as the cover story of issue 32(7). 5/2021 Paper 'Neuromatch academy: teaching computational neuroscience with global accessibility' has been published online by Trends in Cognitive Sciences. 7/2019 Paper 'Dendritic computations captured by an effective point neuron model' has been published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America. 3/2019 Paper 'Determination of effective synaptic conductances using somatic voltage clamp' has been published and highlighted in PLoS Computational Biology.
