1986.9 - 1990.7：武汉大学生物系微生物专业本科学习
1994.9 - 1997.7：华中农业大学微生物专业硕士研究生。
2000.9 - 2007.6：华中农业大学微生物专业在职博士生。
科研与学术工作经历
1990.8 - 1994.8：湖北省农业科学院植物保护研究所工作。
1997.8 – 现在：华中农业大学生命科技学院教师。
1999.3-1999.9：借聘到国家自然科学基金委员会工作半年。
2014. 4 - 2015.4：英国John Inns Centre研究所公派访问学者研究

实验室介绍及网址：
生物固氮课题组近年来针对根瘤菌-豆科植物共生固氮分子机理的研究热点，以华癸中慢生根瘤菌—紫云英共生固氮体系为模型，开展以下研究：1、华癸中慢生根瘤菌在共生固氮过程中参与信号识别、侵染线形成、类菌体发育的相关基因研究；2、紫云英中参与根瘤菌早期信号识别、传导、类菌体发育、根瘤发育的相关基因研究；3、根瘤菌资源、接种剂和复合微生物菌肥研制和应用。
