主讲本科课程《基因工程实验》、《海洋活性物质分离技术实验》、《食品感官评价》等，主讲研究生课程《基因工程综合实验》。
获得中国海洋大学第十六届“五四青年奖”、中国海洋大学教学评估优秀（理工科第一名）、山东省优秀学士论文指导教师、中国海洋大学优秀教师、中国海洋大学优秀班主任。
科研工作
主持国家自然科学基金（2项）、教育部博士点基金（新教师）、教育部国际合作项目、教育部留学回国启动基金等科研项目；作为科研骨干参与国家科技支撑计划、国家海洋局公益专项、国家自然科学基金等项目。在《Scientific Reports》（Nature group）、《Journal of Chromatography A》（一区）、《Molecular Nutrition and Food Research》（一区）等杂志发表或参与发表SCI文章逾50篇，参与的成果荣获国家海洋工程科学技术二等奖，获选为中国生物化学与分子生物学会农业分会首届青年委员会委员（全国38名）。
研究领域
食品活性物质、分子营养，近年来的研究主要集中于生物大分子——核酸的利用和代谢，揭示了核酸消化始于包括鱼类、禽类、哺乳动物在内的多种生物胃部的全新现象，打破了传统理论认为核酸消化始于小肠的误解，成果发表于Nature系列期刊。
