（2）洋陆转换带的构造演化：南海地区岩石圈伸展、裂解、构造变形及演化模式；洋陆转换带精细构造解析；深部构造特征；
（3）陆架和边缘海盆地动力学：西太平洋陆缘含油气盆地构造物理模拟及成盆机制分析；大陆破折演变与海底古滑坡；
（4）俯冲机制：西北太平洋双俯冲系统的俯冲过程物理模拟；深浅部地球动力过程及耦合关系；
1. 学科方向：构造地质学、构造物理学、洋底动力学、地震学
2. 应用基础：利用构造物理模拟的方法与技术，利用自主研发的物理模拟相关的实验设备，对海底滑坡、俯冲带、走滑拉分盆地、利于油气成藏的反转构造、褶皱、地震断层等构造定量化认识，通过简化实际地质构造，用物理方法分析其演化和成因，为矿产及油气资源勘探及稳定性、地震机理及预测等提供构造背景支持。
