以第一获奖人获“国家科技进步二等奖”1项、教育部“自然科学奖”和“科技进步奖”一等奖各1项、福建省“科学技术奖”和“技术发明奖”一等奖各1项。 国务院特殊津贴专家。国家杰出青年科学基金获得者。国家科技创新领军人才；入选首批“新世纪百千万人才工程”国家级人选和“教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划”；获“全国五一劳动奖章”“全国优秀科技工作者”等称号；被评为“福建省先进工作者”、“福建省杰出科技人才”和“福建省高校领军人才”。 主要任职： 华侨大学党委书记 脆性材料产品智能制造技术国家地方联合工程研究中心主任 脆性材料加工教育部工程技术研究中心主任 工作学习经历： 1982-1992年在南京航空学院(现南京航空航天大学)学习，获学士、硕士、博士学位。 1992年12月到华侨大学工作 。 1998-1999年在美国麻省大学从事研究工作1年。 2010年在美国康涅狄格大学Visiting Professor3个月。 主持的科研项目（在研）： 1、“晶圆级单晶金刚石衬底的活性硬质磨粒协同加工原理与关键技术研究”，国家自然科学基金重点项目，资助经费：300万元，执行期间：201901-2023.12。 2、福建省脆性材料智能制造技术工程研究中心，资助经费：500万元，执行期间：2018-2019。
