1998年获哈尔滨工业大学数学系学士学位
2003年获哈尔滨工业大学基础数学专业博士学位
2000年3月在哈尔滨工业大学数学系参加工作
2004年8月被评为副教授
2008年8月至2009年8月在美国堪萨斯州立大学数学系访问
2011年4月被评为博士生导师
2011年12月被评为教授
2013年7月-2018年6月任基础数学研究所所长
主要讲授本科生《近世代数》、《高等代数续》及《代数与几何》，研究生《抽象代数》、《群论》、《交换代数》及《矩阵分析》等课程；2008年8月至2009年8月在国家留学基金委资助下作为国家公派访问学者在美国堪萨斯州立大学数学系访问。在培养本科生科研能力方面有比较丰富的经验，学生刘柏英的本科毕业论文《Toric簇及其应用》获2007年华人数学家大会（ICCM2007)“新世界数学”大学生科研奖银奖；经本人指导的多名学生论文被评为"校级优秀本科论文"；部分优秀学生毕业后获得MIT, UMN，NUS及OSU等名校奖学金,并且获得博士学位。
主要研究领域为代数(同调代数与代数K理论、代数数论、组合矩阵、矩阵分析）理论及其在组合数学、图论及博弈论等领域上的应用，已在国内外知名刊物上发表论文30余篇；作为主要成员参加4项国家自然科学基金项目，作为项目负责人主持完成2项国家自然科学基金项目。任德国《数学文摘》zbMATH评论员，美国《数学评论》Mathematical Reviews评论员以及中国数学学会会员, 中国人工智能学会会员, 黑龙江省数学会常务理事等。
在导师游宏教授指导下完成的博士论文于2004 年被评为“哈尔滨工业大学优秀博士学位论文”。
2016年获得黑龙江省数学会首届 ”优秀青年学术奖”。
