1982.09－1986.07：东北工学院（现东北大学）金属物理专业本科生，获理学学士学位。 1986.09－1989.07：辽宁大学理论物理专业硕士研究生，获理学硕士学位。 1992.09－1996.01：东北大学材料物理专业博士研究生，获工学博士学位。 1996.02－1997.12：西北工业大学凝固技术国家重点实验室做博士后研究，副教授。 1998.01－1998.08：北京科技大学材料物理系继续做博士后研究，副教授。 1998.09－2000.10：北京航空航天大学材料物理与化学研究中心任教，副教授。 2000.11－2002.11：日本国立产业技术综合研究所（National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, AIST，Japan)任特别研究员（STA Fellow)。 2002.12－2004.11：德国GKSS研究中心材料研究所 (Institute of Materials Research, GKSS Research Center, Germany) 任客座研究员(Guest Scientist)。 2004.12－2010.08：浙江工业大学机械工程学院，教授。 2008.12－2009.03：日本国立产业技术综合研究所（National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, AIST，Japan)访问教授。 2010.09－至今：常州大学材料科学与工程学院腐蚀与防护研究所，教授、所长，江苏省“双创”人才。
