个人简介

1990-1993年度在意大利国际高等研究院获理学博士学位（最高学位） 1994年在意大利怕多瓦天文台、1995年至1997年在国家天文台（原北京天文台）作博士后。 1997年入选中科院百人计划。 1998年起任北京天文台研究员。 1999年起任国家天文台创新团组首席研究员至今。

研究领域

恒星演化、星团、星族合成、银河系结构

承担科研项目情况： 目前担任LAMOST银河系结构巡天科学工作组主任，负责组织LAMOST银河系恒星巡天的科学计划工作。为配合这项工作，我们与美国SDSS/SEGUE团队建立了合作关系，美方将于投资的方式参加巡天，并在科学计划阶段投入人力。我们的巡天科学计划已经于2009年5月通过了国际评审，获得了好评。进一步的计划和实施将紧随LAMOST调试和科学（试）观测的步伐。作为核心成员参加国际合作的“宋”项目，这个项目组成的国际联测网将为恒星内部结构提供一个前所未有的限制，对促进中国恒星物理的研究有非常重要的意义。
