个人简介
1983年7月毕业于江西中医学院中药学专业，获学士学位；1983年8月-1985年7月在江西省景德镇市药检所工作；1985年9月-1988年7月在中国中医研究院学习，获医学硕士；1985-2008年在中国中医研究院工作，历任助理研究员，研究员；1989-1990年在日本(株)津村顺天堂生物工作，任化学研究所客座研究员；1991-1995年在香港中文大学生物学专业学习，生药学方向，获哲学博士；1998-2000年在日本富士医科药科大学药效解析中心，从事分子鉴定博士后研究；2000-2001年在香港中文大学生物系工作，副研究员；2001-至今，任国家中药现代化工程技术研究中心主任。自2015年5月，担任暨南大学岭南传统中药研究中心工作主任。
研究领域
主要从事本草生药、饮片炮制、药材鉴定等传统中药学科研究；以及中药新产品的研制与开发、岭南中药资源的品质评价与标准研究。
