Iraida Toporkova is a linguist with a PhD in Russian Philology; she teaches Russian language and Literature and Russian as a Foreign Language. Iraida originally comes from Tambov, one of the oldest cities in Russia.At ECNU, Iraida serves as an instructor for multiple courses, both in undergraduate and graduate programs. Before coming to ECNU in 2015, she had worked at SISU in China and in multiple universities in Russia, where Iraida taught Russian as a Foreign Language to the students from parts of the world as diverse as Latin America, India, Middle East, etc. Iraida regularly participates in international conferences in China, Russia, and other countries, publishes on linguistics and teaching methods in academic journals. Iraida also systematically takes part in various pedagogy trainings in leading universities in Russia, such as on Teaching Methods of Russian as a Foreign language at Moscow State University. In 2013, Iraida was awarded the Teaching Excellence Prize set for foreign experts and teachers working in Shandong Province. Iraida’s research interests include but not limited to methods of teaching Russian as a foreign language, onomastics, comparative studies of foreign spaces of languages, modern Russian literature and critical literary practice. Iraida enjoys doing oil painting; she is also passionate about theater and takes part in local theater production. Iraida Toporkova来自俄罗斯最古老的城市之一坦波夫。她是一名语言学家，拥有俄罗斯语言学博士学位。她教授俄语语言和文学。在华东师范大学，Iraida Toporkova在本科和研究生课程中担任多个课程的讲师。在2015年进入华师大之前，她曾在上海外国语大学和俄罗斯的多所大学工作过。在那里，伊拉达为来自世界各地的学生（如拉丁美洲、印度、中东等）教授俄语。 她时常参加中国、俄罗斯和其他国家的国际会议，在学术期刊上发表语言学和教学方法的相关论文。伊拉达还系统地参加了俄罗斯主要大学的各种教学培训，例如莫斯科国立大学的俄语外语教学方法。2013年，Iraida Toporkova获得山东省外籍专家和教师教学优秀奖。她研究兴趣不仅是俄语教学，还包括经济学、语言“外国空间”的比较研究、现代俄罗斯文学和批评文学实践。 Iraida Toporkova爱好油画和戏剧，并积极参与中国当地俄语戏剧制作。
