研究领域

•行星系統的黏滯引入式共振: 我們發現原恆星盤氣體黏滯力可以將小星體捕捉至共振。 •系外行星: 我們在考慮望遠鏡觀測極限下，建立系外行星在質量與週期共同空間的分佈函數。 •恆星與行星之潮汐交互作用: 我們計算了系外行星可能被偵測到的最小可能半長軸，以及系外行星軌道遷移的時間尺度，結果確與觀測資料符合。 •棕矮星的形成: 棕矮星的質量較一般恆星為小，其形成的過程尚待研究，我們提出一個理論，棕矮星可能在環繞雙星系統的氣體盤上形成，而後由於軌道不穩定而被散射至目前所在的位置。 •織女星碎塵盤的組成: 我們最近提出的準穩態模型，可解決.織女星碎塵盤的質量與塵埃大小的問題。 •衛星系軌道演化：我們研究人馬座矮星系的可能軌道，我們發現來自暗物質的摩擦力扮演了重要角色。 •環狀星系結構：我們結合觀測及電腦模擬的結果，提出幾個環狀星系可能形成的模型。
