目前主要研究微生物群落的互作关系和网络结构。研究结果发表在 Ecology Letters、Evolution、Animal Behaviour、Proceedings of the Royal Society等期刊上。论文被 Nature、Science、PNAS、Nature Communications、Trends in Ecology & Evolution、PLoS Biology、New Phytologist、Ecology、Proc. Roy. 研究领域

主要研究兴趣是通过数学模型和计算机模拟解释生态系统的模式，揭示其生态和进化机理，探索生物多样性的形成和维持机制。
