研究领域

Peroxides as Key Reagents for Organic Reactions Nonselective decomposition of peroxides into many different species is easy. How to harness the decomposition and selectively utilize the resulted species is another story. Our group is working on all kinds of peroxides and try to understand the behaviors of peroxides under different circumstances. There are still so many puzzles. At least we observed many ways to break bonds of alkyl peroxides. Different reaction occurs based on different decomposition style. Our research interests include but not limit to: 1) Work modes of peroxides 2) Alkyl peroxides as alkylating reagents and internal oxidants 3) Peroxides enabled new reactions 4) Unnatural amino acids synthesis.
