主要研究纳米涂层材料、建筑安全装饰材料、建筑节能软瓷材料的设计、制备及产业化推广应用。具体包括： 1、新型建筑节能装饰材料：柔性饰面砖（软瓷），太阳热反射涂料、多彩涂料、相变微胶囊储能材料、建筑保温装饰一体板等。 2、纳米涂层材料：（玻璃、金属等材料表面）耐污抗划自清洁涂层 3、高性能陶瓷材料：钛酸铝、氧化铝陶瓷材料
