2007.8-2007.12 瑞典的于默奥大学（The University of Umeå）做访问学者，进行分子进化方面学习研究。

专利与奖励
2005年，研究成果“全球变化与我国主要农业生态系统的相互作用研究”获广东省科学技术奖一等奖（排名第十）。
2011年，研究成果“华南珍稀濒危植物的野外回归研究与应用”获广东省环境保护科学技术奖（排名第十）。
