1991年——1993年，东北大学信息科学与工程学院，博士后 1993年——1994年，东北大学信息科学与工程学院，副教授 1997年5月——1998年5月，韩国科学院，高级访问学者 1998年6月——1998年8月，美国Alaska大学合作科研 1998年12月——2000年12月，香港科技大学，高级访问学者 2003年12月——2004年7月，美国Illinois大学，访问研究教授 2006年10月——2006年11月，美国牛津大学，访问研究教授 1994年6月至今，东北大学信息科学与工程学院，教授，硕士生导师，博士生导师 1995年2月至今，东北大学信息科学与工程学院电气自动化研究所，所长获得荣誉 2002年获得国家教育部颁发的“高等学校优秀骨干教师奖” 2005年获得Rockwell优秀教师奖（Rockwell Automation Teacher Award） 2005年获得全国优秀博士后奖，并获金质奖章 2009年被中国自动化学会授予“中国过程控制学术贡献奖” 2010年被宝钢教育基金会评为“2010年宝钢优秀教师特等奖” 2010年被沈阳市人民政府授予“沈阳市特等劳动模范” 2011年获得沈阳市人民政府“2010年度沈阳市科技振兴奖” 2012年被辽宁省人民政府授予“辽宁省特等劳动模范” 2014年被教育部授予“全国模范教师” 2015年被党中央、国务院评为“全国先进工作者” 2017年被辽宁省委、辽宁省人民政府授予“辽宁杰出科技工作者”

研究领域

主要从事复杂工业过程自动化，电力系统自动化，新型电机设计和拖动系统自动化，非线性控制与分析、模糊控制与神经网络控制、自适应控制和混沌控制的理论研究和工程开发工作。
