个人简介
1986年7月毕业于浙江大学土木工程系，1989年7月和1994年7月分别在河海大学获得硕士和博士学位。1994至1995在香港科技大学土木工程系访问研究，1996至1997年在日本国立港湾技术研究所从事博士后研究。1997年7月在河海大学由讲师直接破格晋升为教授，1998年8月获博士生导师资格。2000年和2003年两次赴荷兰代尔夫特理工大学任高级访问学者。2004年和2005年分别赴新加坡南洋理工大学和法国里尔科技大学任访问教授。2009年10月到2013年12月任河海大学土木与交通学院院长，岩土力学与堤坝工程教育部重点实验室主任。2013年12月任重庆大学聘为土木工程学院院长。2016年7月任重庆大学党委常委、副校长，山地城镇建设与新技术教育部重点实验室主任。
