主要从事强激光超快物理实验研究，在激光粒子加速和辐射源，高能量密度物理，阿秒超快物理等实验物理领域，包括新型自由电子光源、激光等离子体强磁场、飞秒激光粒子加速、阿秒电子动力学、太赫兹物理等。
