1. 石油石化行业的腐蚀与防护；主要涉及CO2、CO2和H2S共存体系中材料服役性能的评价；新型、高效、绿色缓蚀剂合成与评价；缓蚀剂作用机理与缓蚀剂协同效应研究；高流速下材料耐蚀性能评价和缓蚀剂抗冲击性评价；新型水处理技术与药剂开发等； 2. 铝、镁合金腐蚀与防护主要包括通过微弧氧化以及纳米颗粒掺杂制备耐蚀耐磨层，生物体内镁合金研究、铝镁合金缓蚀剂研究等。
