二级教授、主任医师、德国医学博士、博士生导师。现任暨南大学第一临床医学院（附属第一医院）院长，暨南大学附属第一医院脑血管病中心主任，暨南大学临床医学研究院院长，暨南大学临床神经科学研究所所长。

研究领域

神经病学特别是脑血管病的临床、教学和科研工作，重点缺血性脑血管病预防和治疗，神经胶质细胞与神经元相互反应，经颅多普勒超声诊断临床应用
