1992年中国科学院上海生理研究所获博士学位 1992-1994年纽约州立大学博士后 1994-1999年美国德克萨斯大学医学中心神经生物系研究员 1999.8-2004.5美国堪萨斯大学生物系助理教授,博士生导师 2003年12月至今中科院“百人计划”海外杰出人才引进到生物物理研究所,任研究课题组长,研究员。获国家杰出青年科学基金资助,美国神经科学会会员

研究方向: 1)记忆细胞工作原理:学习记忆是人类认知、逻辑思维和抉择的基础,记忆细胞的工作原理是有待澄清的神经科学问题。为了研究信息储存和记忆细胞工作原理,我们建立了感觉信息跨皮层储存的小鼠模型。感觉皮层神经元和神经胶质细胞重塑能够编码天然感觉信息和新的跨模式信息。这些联合记忆细胞在储存天然和新获得信息的同时也能通过不同的编程模式对其进行识别。这些联合记忆细胞是天生反射和新建反射的共同输出通路。联合记忆细胞的形成是基于相关皮层之间建立新轴突投射和新突触形成。某些microRNA在信息储存、联合记忆细胞以及新突触形成中起重要作用。这些研究在国际上首次阐述了哺乳动物的联合记忆细胞的自然属性。 2)精神疾病的神经环路机制:据WHO的估计全球约有3.5%的人群患有抑郁症和焦虑症,其发病与遗传易感和慢性应激有关。我们系统地建立了轻度不可预测的慢性应激导致小鼠抑郁的实验模型来研究抑郁症发病的细胞分子机理,包括不同类型神经元及其相互作用病理变化、边缘系统脑区间神经环路异常等。这些研究将为开发精神疾病防治新策略提供依据。 3)神经细胞编程原理:神经元相当于计算机的核心处理单元,但神经元编程模拟和数字信号。我们的研究聚焦在神经树突的模拟信号整合及其驱动胞体数字信号的产生,轴突放大和分流动作电位信号,轴突与其下游神经元编程能力的匹配,以及这些过程的可塑与稳态。这些研究将揭示神经网络和脑的编程原理,是模拟脑的神经计算机研发的基础。 研究的技术手段: 小鼠生理和病理行为分析,活体动物脑细胞离子信号的光学成像,活体动物脑细胞电信号记录分析,离体脑片神经元突触信号电生理记录分析,AAV追踪神经环路和突触形成,细胞内微量注射操纵细胞内生化反应和基因表达,以AAV为载体实现神经细胞内特异的基因过表达或敲除,免疫细胞化学方法分析蛋白表达,单细胞基因分析与神经元突触动力学相关的基因表达谱,以及数学物理方法探索神经元和突触编程规律
