个人简介

Zhongyi Jiang is Professor at school of chemical engineering of Tianjin University. He graduated from Tianjin university with a doctorate in chemical engineering in 1994. In the same year, he joined as the faculty in Tianjin University. He was a visiting scholar at the University of Minnesota (1996) and the California Institute of Technology (2009). He is the winner of the national science foundation for outstanding young people, the team leader of Tianjin chemical and chemical collaborative innovation center, the leading talents in scientific and technological innovation of the national "ten thousand plan", the head of the innovation team of the ministry of science and technology, the chief scientist of the national key research and development program, the fellow of the royal chemical society (FRSC) and the editor aboard of Journal of Membrane Science. He is selected on the list of highly cited scholars (chemical engineering) in China and the list of highly cited scholars (chemical engineering) in the world. His interests are in biomimetic and bioinspired membranes & membrane processes, enzyme catalysis and photocatalysis. He has received a number of awards including the Tianjin outstanding scientific and technological workers model (2019), the first prize of basic research of China chemical industry association (2019), the first prize of science and technology progress of China federation of petroleum and chemical industries (2016), the first prize of natural science in Tianjin (2015) and the Hou debang chemical technology innovation award (2015).
