个人简介

Dr. Chuan Zhang got his bachelor and master degree of Chemistry at Tsinghua University, Beijing. After that, he continued his PhD study at Purdue University and obtained the PhD degree in Chemistry in 2011 under supervision of Prof. Chengde Mao. Then he received the postdoctoral training in the group of Prof. Chad A. Mirkin at Northwestern University, USA. He joined the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University as an Assistant Professor in 2014. His main research interests focus on DNA supramolecular chemistry, DNA-based nanomaterials for biomedical applications, cell-material interactions, and materials engineering for immunomodulation. He has previously received the M. G. Mellon Award in 2010 and “Qiu Shi” Outstanding Young Scholar Award in 2014.
