从事昆虫分子生物学和化学生态学方面的研究,以棉花害虫为研究对象开展以下两个方面的研究工作:以当前转基因棉花重要害虫中黑盲蝽为研究对象,开展了性信息素成分鉴定、信息素生物合成分子机制、功能基因组等方面的研究;以甜菜夜蛾为研究对象,开展甜菜夜蛾中肠Cry2A受体蛋白的鉴定及功能分析
