个人简介

教育背景 1997年毕业于华中农业大学,获植物保护学士学位。 1999年考入浙江大学攻读硕士学位,2004年毕业于浙江大学。 工作经历 09/2012-现在,华中农业大学植物科技学院药用植物研究所教授、药用植物教研室主任。 12/2009-08/2012, 研究助理, 康乃尔大学,生物医学工程系(Research Associate, Biomedical Engineering Department, Cornell University) 11/2006-11/2009, 博士后,康乃尔大学,生物医学工程系(Postdoctoral Associate,Biomedical Engineering Department, Cornell University) 07/2004-10/2006, 助理研究员,中国科学院微生物研究所

研究领域

炎症(Inflammation)是我们研究的出发点。在现代医学与免疫学,炎症是机体抵御外来入侵物以及自身功能紊乱的一种纠错与调节机制。但是炎症反应中产生的活性氧等物质,也对正常细胞与功能有一定的副作用。大量研究表明,长期炎症可能会诱发癌症、关节炎、糖尿病、肥胖病、心血管病等一些列疾病;上述各类疾病中也伴随高水平的炎症反应。我们注意到中医有关上火的理论与西医炎症极其类似,都是描述机体的亚健康状态。因此,我们将炎症与上火对应,借助现代医学技术研究上火、去火中药。大量中药有上火或去火的功效,但是他们之间平行比较通常是模糊的。我们借助现代免疫学有关炎症的基本概念,利用炎症关系密切的几个蛋白,在分子水平定量分析中药材或者天然产物的去火能力,建立了不同药材之间定性、定量比较分析平台。利用该技术,在化学、药理学的基础上我们目前主要关注:1)天然产物抗肥胖病、糖尿病、心血管病药物的改造与评价;2)以抗炎为导向的中药辅助抗癌药物筛选;3)新一代凉茶的创制。目前已经有新型抗肥胖病与糖尿病药物前体,效果良好;中药辅助抗癌也将进入临床观察研究
