I welcome you to the first issue of the IEEE Communications Surveys and Tutorials in 2024. This issue includes 18 papers covering different aspects of communication networks. In particular, these articles survey and tutor various issues in “Wireless Communications”, “Cyber Security”, “IoT and M2M”, “Vehicular and Sensor Communications”, “Internet Technologies”, “Network Virtualization” and “Network and Service Management and Green Communications”.
